# Adding product variant


###### How to add product variants like color, size or shape?

When you have a product that has different sizes, it is useful to create variants instead of creating the same product multiple times. In this chapter, the adding of variants is demonstrated.

To add a variant to a product:

1. Go to product view in **“Product Management”**

2. Scroll down the page and click **"Regenerate variants”**

3. Click **“ Add Option”** what stands for the variant of the product (color, size…) and **“Option value”** the equivalent you wish to create e.g “Color” and the values “Blue”, “Pink”. To add,** just type in the box** and press enter after each value. You can also add multiple **Options**.

4. Then choose **“Edit** and add all the specific for the variants. You can change the stock separately for every variant.

4. Click **"Save Changes"**
