How to add and manage collections?

Collection is a group of certain types of products. You can group your products into collections to make it easier for customers to find them by category or types. Collections helps you to organize your products.

Here are a few examples of collections that you might create:

clothes for men, women, or children
items on sale
seasonal products
campaigns and etc.



You can also use "Collections" as an alternative way to "Categories" to showcase your products.

When you create a collection, it displays in your online store like a webpage with a gallery of the products that you've added to it.

Customers can click a product image on the collection page to visit that product's page and see more information.

Collection Types

You can create two types of collections: "manual"and "automatic"(dynamical).

A manual collection includes the products you add. The collection always contains the same products unless you add or remove them.

An automated collection uses selection conditions to automatically include matching products. You can define as many selection conditions as you want. When you add a new product that matches the selection conditions for a collection, it will be automatically added to the collection.

Create a collection

These are the basic steps to creating a collection.

Choose “Product Management” → “Collections” from the menu:



Click “Add New Collection”:




Enter collection details :

"Collection Name" - collection name you want your clients to see

"Collection Description" - if you want to add a description of your collection

Choose “Product selection” method - manually or automatically

Click “Add collection”



You can add products to your collection right away or leave it to later. See adding products here.

Click in menu “Collections” to see your created collection:

If you have created a collection you will be automatically directed to adding products.

Manually creating a collection means that you have to enter your products name one by one to add them to collection. And you cant’t add them by conditions or variants.

Choose a manual collection, click "Products"

Enter product name you want to add to collection. (Remember that the products must be in active state!)



Choose the product from a dropdown menu or press enter to add it.

Automatically select products to collection

Automated collections you can add products by adding filter so products will match to your conditions.

Choose an automatic collection, click "Products"



Choose a filter you need to add products to your collection. You can sort products by four filters: Price, Product Creation Date, Product Type, Brand.



Example you can create a collection by price. If you enter a condition it already shows all items that meet the condition.

If you want you can add another filter to your condition:



Click "Save"

You will be directed to collection page.

Deleting items from manual collection
From manually created collection:

Choose “Product Management” → “Collections” from the menu
Click on “Products” (manual)
Choose “x” after the item you want to remove from the collection to delete it




The changes will be automatically be saved.

Delete from automatically created collection

To delete items from automatically created collections you have to change the terms of the collection by adding, changing or removing filters.




Add "Product Filter" if you don't want any of the products shown:




You can delete a filter by clicking on "Remove” in the end of the line and click "Save"

Edit an existing collection

Choose “Product Management” → “Collections"
Choose the collection name or “Edit” after the collection you want to change to change the name or description of collection





3.Choose “Products” if you want to change products that are in the collection. You can add and delete products to manual collections. To change the products in automatically created collection you have to add, change or delete filters.

Make changes if necessary

Click “Save”

Delete a collection

Choose “Product Management” →** “Collections"**
Click on a collection name or “Edit”
Choose “Delete”




The confirmation window will pop up. Choose: “Yes, Delete” to permanently delete your collection. “Cancel” if you don’t.
