How to set a primary domain, change the current domain and direct other domains to your shop

A domain is the URL, the address where your customers can find your store online. There might be several cases where you need to change the name of your domain or other parameters.

Primary domain

Go to "Settings"
Next "Domains"
There are two sections: "Primary domain" and "Alternate domains". Your shoperb.me domain will always be there since it is the system-generated domain for your shop. This does not have to be the primary domain and you can set any other domain as the primary.

How to add a new domain?

Click "Add existing domain"
DNS records: Choose your "**Domain Type**" either "Pointing your domain to Shoperb IP" or "Using Shoperb Nameservers".
If you want to add your own domain, choose "Pointing your domain to Shoperb IP":

Changing Primary Domain

Click "Change Primary Domain"
Choose your preferred domain and click "Choose as primary"

Redirecting domains

Find a place where A/AAA is marked in your service providers' environment. There is a place for an IP. This should be 5.39.6.81 if directed to Shoperb. Write your desired domain in the CNAME part, for example: myshop.com. In the Shoperb administration, you should add the domain with the prefix www.
