Excel Template

You can import product to Shoperb using Excel template as well, just send it to our team so we can export your products. The current Excel import template can be found here: https://www.dropbox.com/s/d6yzdlna615mvhs/import_products_form.xlsx?dl=0

Pre-requisites

Before you get started, make sure that you have already built out your category tree. You'll need these to fill in product_category_id and product_subcategory_id fields later on.

Below is a description for each column you will see in the template:

Product details

To import Products you should create Excel file with required headers. First line in a list of column names.

Optional fields can be skipped.

• Name - required, Product name. Should be unique per product. If you import multiple variants then copy product name for each line of variant
• Handle - optional, Product handle. It's used when you want custom selector in theme. Usually not needed and can be skipped
• Description - optional, Product description. You can use HTML tags here.
• Category_Handle - optional, Category handle lookup. If you want to add product to some specific category. You can also use category id
• Images - optional. Comma separated list of images which should be downloaded and added to Product
• SKU - required, Variant SKU. Should be unique per variant in one product. This is needed to not create double variants and keep them unique in product
• Charge_Taxes - optional. Possible values true, false. By default true.
• Weight - optional. Weight of variant
• Width - optional. Width of variant
• Height - optional. Height of variant
• Depth - optional. Depth of variant
• Track_Stock_Level - optional. By default false. If something set in the cell, then true
• Low_Stock_Notification - optional. By default false. If something set in the cell, then true
• in_stock - optional. How many items in stock. By default 0
• Warehouse - optional. Is used when you have multiple warehouses. Put warehouse name where items should be put. If there is no such warehouse it will be created.
• Sector - optional. Is used when you have multiple sectors in warehouses. Put sector name where items should be put. If there is no such sector it will be created.
• Attribute:Your Attribute Name - optional. Is used when you want to create multi-variant product. In this case "Your Attribute Name" is your attribute name like Color, Size or Material. In the cell please put the value. For instance, if you have Attribute:Color, then put into cell red. If attribute name is not created then it will be autocreated. If value is not set in the cell then we skip this attribute.
